Hey Valley Residents, consider something new this year! The 26th annual Wasilla Christmas Friendship dinner is coming up Christmas Day from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM at the Menard Sports Complex. This completely free event includes dinner with all the fixings, local entertainment and a great Christmas atmosphere with all your friends and neighbors.
This is one of the biggest events in the Mat Su, with almost 4,000 meals served last year. What does it take to pull this off you ask?
• 100 turkeys
• 600 pounds of ham
• 800 pounds of potatoes
• 400 pies
• And 600 volunteers
This non-profit event truly is of, by and for the community. All are welcome, but our no sales/proselytizing rule will be enforced.
