When it comes to small home-town appeal, Palmer can't be beat. Take that warm atmosphere, add Santa, a parade of lights and some holiday cheer with friends, family and neighbors, and you know it must be the Colony Christmas Celebration, held this year from Friday, December 8th – Sunday, December 10th.

Known as the premier Christmas party in Palmer, Colony Christmas never misses the little drummer boy's beat in pounding out years of holiday tradition, in a 3-day celebration of Christmas past and present. The town's historical downtown fills with horse-drawn sleigh rides, reindeer petting, gingerbread houses, Christmas carolers, a parade and a night sky full of fireworks. There are pony wheel rides, holiday foods, a 5K fun run and so much more. Santa will also be stopping by to meet the kids. Don’t forget, there are several craft fairs, and our local merchants decorate for the occasion and offer events and holiday specials on gift ideas for the entire family.

Palmer is proud to continue with this historical holiday tradition. We look forward to you and your family joining us for this year’s celebration!
