My Moral Compass As A Lieutenant Governor

People often ask me why I am running for lieutenant governor. I often respond to them by saying, “Somebody has to defend Alaska.”

This is no game, we are on crossroad: we either let Walker/Begich win by bowing down to the Chinese and losing our entire permanent fund at the same time, or fight for our survival to take our state back.

Some might think I overreact about Walker’s Chinese business adventure. In reality, folks, this is not a joking matter. Sadly, it seems the only right we can exercise is to vote for our state government officials: Governor, Lt. Governor, State Senate, State House Representatives and if we fail, I fear for Alaska is going to face a lot worse situation we are in right now. It’s pretty much going downhill from now on unless we put a stop on it by putting the right people in the office.

Who are the right people? I believe someone who truly care about Alaska.  I, for example, when making my decision or forming my principle, I like to ask myself a question, “Is this good for Alaska?” We should vote for the people who has high moral standards, adequate experience and someone will defend for Alaska. In my opinion, many people are careless about who’s in the office. Hardly anyone is voting the Primary. If they do vote, they vote for someone they know.  Unfortunately, many of incumbents are RINOs, meaning they are not what they appear to be.  They may claim they are Republicans, but they are not conservative at all. Like their Democrat colleagues, they may claim government spending, take people’s PFD, SB91 and Sanctuary City Policy.

I recently read the pamphlet written by Frederic Bastiat. Although it was written 170 years ago, its content still rings the truth. He indicates that government can be the people’s biggest threat because they are able to plunder people legally by making laws favors a few and make the rest of the society pay for the cost. The only way to restrain the government is to limit its power.

We can see the trend when we have liberals in charge in the legislature or state. They like to make laws such as SB91 and SB26 to allow government to use their power to achieve their agenda by hiring more people and more agencies and spend more money. However, if we trim the government that we have, less chance to become Socialists and plunder the people.

Alaskans, you can cast your vote on the August 21st Primary and November 6th to elect the people that can truly represent you. I think it’s important to have someone on the top level to speak on your behalf. That’s why I am running for Lt. Governor - to make sure our policy making favors the majority of people instead of a few. My moral compass will guide me to do what’s best for Alaska.

I hope you will vote for the candidates who truly care about Alaska, instead of their own wallets. God bless my fellow Alaskans. May God bless our endeavor on turning our state around.
