Alaska Junior Theater is excited to bring Black Violin back to Anchorage for the first two nights of November.

Performances will be held at 7:30pm in the Atwood Concert Hall at the Alaska Center for the Performing Arts.

The duo of Wil Baptiste (viola) and Kev Marcus (violin) from Ft. Lauderdale, Florida sold out the Atwood in 2009 and again in 2014.

This time, award-winning turntablist, DJ SPS, and drummer, Nathaniel Stokes, join them.

Wil and Kev in met in school. Their shared love of classical and hip-hop music led them to create their signature multi-genre sound that’s often described as “Classical Boom”. With every tour, that pioneering sound becomes more refined and engaging.

But, as their talent grows one thing remain the same - their positive and uplifting message. Come hear that message for yourself. Preview the show at www.akjt.org.

Tickets are available at 263-ARTS or www.centertix.com.
