The Alaska Native Media Group and the Alaska Native Book Fair Committee invite you and your membership to its 7th Annual Alaska Native Book Fair & Authors Event on Friday, April 17, 2026 at 12 PM to 4 PM at the Cook Inlet Tribal Conference, Inc (CITCI), first floor conference rooms, 3600 San Jeronimo Drive, Anchorage, AK 99508.

The purpose of the book fair is to encourage and educate Alaska Natives on becoming authors and to prompt dialogue about the writing process from the perspective of Native authors. In addition, we want to showcase the amazing work of published Alaska Native authors and illustrators to a large audience. We have a lot of talent to highlight.

Please feel free to add the event to your membership calendar or other communication tools you may utilize.

The free event, from 12 PM to 4 PM at the Cook Inlet Tribal Conference, Inc (CITCI) building, will also feature raffle door prizes, author book signing, a therapy dog, and Molly of Denali.

Alaska Native authors include the following: Patty Godfrey; Phyllis Adams; Barbara Atwater; Ethan Atwater; Sharon Kay; Lily Tuzroyluke; Katherine Gottlieb; Caitlyn Kelly; Miranda Miller with Arya Bear the therapy dog; Holly Guise; Richard Atuk; Yaari Walker; and Edward Thomas.

Thank you for your consideration. Wishing you the best for 2026!
