To celebrate National Doctors’ Day, Mat-Su Regional Medical Center, in partnership with the Mat-Su Health Foundation, donated money to The Children’s Place, a Child Advocacy Center that provides a safe space for abused children and non-offending family members to receive support, justice, treatment, and healing.
On hand to present the symbolic check were Taylor Rudd, CEO Mat-Su Regional Medical Center, and Esther Pitts, CEO Mat-Su Health Foundation. Receiving the donation on behalf of The Children’s Place was CEO Michelle Sturgeon.
The contribution recognizes the compassion, dedication, and impact of physicians, whose commitment to caring for the community extends far beyond the walls of the hospital.
“On Doctors’ Day, we celebrate the incredible physicians who care for our community with skill, compassion, and heart,” said Taylor Rudd, Chief Executive Officer of Mat-Su Regional Medical Center. “Our providers don’t just practice medicine, they build relationships, support families, and make a lasting difference in people’s lives. This donation is one small way to honor their impact and extend that care to some of the most vulnerable members of our community.”
Mat-Su Regional Medical Center is proud to recognize its physicians not only for the exceptional care they provide every day, but for the meaningful ways they help strengthen the community.
