The scarf sat upon the shelf for days, wondering when it would see the light of day then! Hooray the scarf got picked to be worn that day It is long and light, yet warm and colored bright
The scarf that is worn, can go many places,
First to the park to see the wide spaces
Next to the trees to feel the warm energy
Reaching to the stars as we dance
Swirling and twirling like horses we prance
Floating gracefully in time with the earth and air
The scarf is able to change and adapt
For mood, for flare, with tie pins or clasps
Wear round the neck, or over the hair
Worn in a turban, the colors swirl around the head
Flung over the shoulders, it is warm and light
If the Sun is too hot, it keeps the skin cool
A scarf for all seasons, all time and reasons
Is a scarf to treasure and wear.
