Snow Globe World
Contributed by Annie C.
On the mantle at home is a snow globe,
A pretty wee bit of a world;
It sparkles and shimmers and dances,
Whenever it gently,
Around and around,
Whenever it gently is whirled.
Just a boy and a girl and a little pine tree,
In a wonderland world that I love to see;
A feathery whirl and a Christmas tree,
And he & she.
When I'm walking with you in the forest,
And pause for a lingering kiss,
And feel your hand slip into mine,
Not a thing can compare,
No never, no never,
Not a thing can compare with this.
Just a boy and a girl and a little pine tree,
In a wonderland world where I love to be;
A feathery whirl and a Christmas tree,
And you & me.
A feathery whirl and a Christmas tree,
And you & me.
