The Widow

The Widow

Contributed by M. j. Bussman

Lost and alone, my love is gone
All our plans that we had made have
flown away as fiercely as an Alaskan
wind storm.

Grief as deep as the Pacific Ocean
Never to be held in his arms again
Nerves to be kissed by him
He was and still is my dear companion

When one gets married there is a line
in the marriage ceremony that says
Till Death Do Us Part
But he will always be my
Husband and I will always be his Wife.
Death will not part us.

And The Widow Still Weeps…
