Closing Schools Is a Betrayal

Last year, when the Mat-Su School Board failed to advocate for more school funding, they did not tell parents it would result in the closure of three elementary schools.
When all but one, Rob Yundt, of the nine legislators representing Mat-Su voted “no” on the education funding override, they did not tell parents it would result in the shuttering of their children’s schools.
Please hold them accountable now. Demand the school board keep the schools open. Demand our legislators fund education. Call them, write them, be there for meetings!
