We Are Celebrating 70 Years of Caring for Our Valley Neighbors

We are holding our second fundraiser, “Leaves of Change Online Auction,” which opened for bidding May 15, 2026.
In case you don’t know who Valley Charities is, let me tell you a little about who we are. We are a local Mat-Su Valley nonprofit organization. We proudly share that we began helping our neighbors in 1956, 70 years ago! Valley Charities Inc. includes turn-A-leaf Thrift Stores, Durable Medical Equipment Lending Program, Re-Entry Program supporting Mat-Su residents who have been incarcerated, and Homelessness Prevention programs.
The auction proceeds go into our Endowment Fund, which was established to help people who fall into an unforeseen financial gap. Things like car repair and medical costs. Those sudden expenses we can all relate to, but some have no resources for help, and our other programs are not set up to help this kind of one-time need. Help and hope.
