R.C. Detail Celebrates 10 Years Serving the Mat-Su Valley

Taking care of your vehicle isn’t a one-season thing. Especially in Alaska.
From winter road grime and windblown debris to summer dust and daily wear, Alaska vehicles go through a lot. For the past 10 years, R.C. Detail has proudly helped drivers throughout the Mat-Su Valley protect their investment, restore pride in what they drive, and stay ahead of the damage our seasons can leave behind.
As we celebrate this milestone, one thing is clear: none of it would have been possible without the support of this community.
For R.C. Detail founder Robbie Cardon, the passion started early. He began detailing vehicles at just 10 years old, working alongside his dad and learning firsthand why details matter. By high school, he was detailing friends’ vehicles and dreaming of the day he’d open a shop of his own.
That dream took a serious turn in 2016.
At the time, Robbie was working in customer service management for a national corporation and making the daily commute to Anchorage. But after work, he was back in his garage doing what he loved: detailing vehicles and steadily building a loyal customer base one vehicle at a time.
Robbie’s reputation as Alaska’s premier detailer spread and demand increased. Within six months, he’d outgrown his garage operation. He knew it was time to make the leap from corporate life to full-time business ownership and opened the first R.C. Detail location in Wasilla.
Since then, the business has continued to grow, earning the trust of customers across the Valley and Alaska. In early 2025, a second location opened in downtown Palmer.
While the footprint has grown, the mindset hasn’t changed.
R.C. Detail continues to invest in advanced products, professional equipment, ongoing training, and industry certifications to ensure customers receive the highest level of care possible. In an industry where anyone can buy a buffer and make big claims, experience, education, and standards still matter.
Just as important, so does community.
Over the last decade, the support of local customers has created opportunities for R.C. Detail to give back through sponsorships, partnerships, and support for organizations and events that make the Mat-Su such a special place to live and work.
That has always been important to Robbie and the team. Success means more when it can be shared.
Ten years after those garage beginnings, R.C. Detail remains committed to the same values it started with: hard work, quality results, continuous improvement, and treating every customer like a neighbor.
