Lindsey Stirling
Wednesday, August 29th - Jonny Lang: Since the release of his platinum-selling debut album at the age of 15, Grammy Award-winning Jonny Lang has built a reputation as one of the best live performers and guitarists of his generation. An honest and passionate songwriter, Lang is known for his stunning guitar solos and voice like a weathered soul shouter, as heard on his six albums: “Lie to Me” (1997), “Wander this World” (1998), “Long Time Coming” (2003), “Turn Around” (2006), “Fight for my Soul” (2013) and “Signs” (2017). Lang is currently on his 2018 World Tour.
Monday, September 3rd - Lindsey Stirling: An acclaimed violinist from Gilbert, Arizona, Lindsey Stirling has created a new music world where modern classical meets the infectious energy of dance and electronica. With Billboard chart-topping hits like “Crystallize”, gold-selling albums, two Billboard Music Awards and sold-out tours worldwide, fans have clearly welcomed her fresh sound. Stirling’s most recent studio album, “Brave Enough”, scored the #1 spot on Billboard’s year-end Top Dance/Electronic Album list and earned Stirling a 2017 Billboard Music Award for Top Dance/Electronic Album.
Starting at 10 a.m. on Friday, June 29th, tickets will be available online at www.alaskastatefair.org and print at home, on the fair’s Facebook page, https://www.facebook.com/alaskastatefair/, and on a mobile phone.
